WHAT IS EXPECTED
What we ask of unit members, attendance, conduct and radio discipline. No hate speech, no bullying, and everyone welcome as they are.
Turning up
The main operation is Saturday 19:00 in Sydney and Melbourne — 21:00 in New Zealand — forming up half an hour before. We would rather you said “can’t make it” than went quiet — sign-up is on the site and takes a moment.
Conduct
Be someone the rest of the section wants next to them. No bigotry, no harassment, no bringing an argument from elsewhere into the unit.
There is no hate speech here. Not as a joke, not as banter, not because somebody else started it. Racism, homophobia, transphobia, misogyny and the rest of it get you removed, and we would rather lose a good shot than keep one.
This is an LGBTQ+ friendly unit. Unit members here are welcome as they are, and that is not up for debate in the Discord.
We will never accept bullying. Grinding somebody down, freezing them out of a section, or making a person the running joke is not banter and it is not tolerated. If it is happening to you or you have watched it happen to someone else, tell HQ. Unit members can use the feedback form on the site, which can be sent anonymously if that is easier; anyone else can say so in the Discord.
Accountability
Everyone, including leadership, is responsible for their decisions and actions. Mistakes should be acknowledged and corrected rather than hidden or blamed on someone else.
